• Tree Trimming: We began by cutting back trees that were overhanging the roof area, reducing the risk of future damage from falling branches and improving sunlight exposure.
• Roof Strip: The existing roof area was stripped, including the removal of all old tiles, battens, and sarking.
• New Sarking Installation: We supplied and installed new sarking to provide an extra layer of protection against moisture and improve the roof’s insulation.
• H2 Treated Pine Battens: New H2 treated pine battens were installed to provide a strong and durable base for the new tiles.
• Terracotta Tiles: We supplied and installed high-quality terracotta tiles on the garage roof. Any spare tiles were left with the owner for future maintenance needs.
• Ridge Caps: Sixteen new terracotta tile ridge caps were supplied and installed, with bedding and pointing completed using red flexipoint for a secure and attractive finish.
• Custom Colorbond Barge Capping: We supplied and installed custom Colorbond barge capping in 0.55 BMT (Base Metal Thickness) to provide additional protection and a neat appearance along the roof edges.
• Site Clean-Up: All job-related rubbish and materials were removed and disposed of, leaving the property clean and tidy.
