Challenges
Original round rib roof sheet profiles are no longer available from any suppliers in Sydney.
To replicate the old design, each rib had to be curved manually, requiring over 20 individual folds per sheet.
Ensuring the final product matched the original aesthetic while maintaining structural integrity.
Scope of Work
Removal and disposal of all existing roof materials.
Supply and installation of a new plywood base for the roof section.
Installation of a waterproof membrane over the plywood to ensure long-term durability.
Supply and installation of custom-manufactured Colorbond roof sheets/pans, with profile and colour closely matching the original Manor Red design.
Installation of all necessary flashings to create a watertight, finished roof.
Outcome
The project successfully delivered a roof section that is an exact replica of the original design, while fully addressing the leaking issues. The custom-manufactured sheets restored both the aesthetic appearance and functional integrity of the roof.
The client was extremely satisfied with the result, noting that the new roof seamlessly matched the original design while resolving the long-standing leaks.
